Pine Bluff’s Forward Fest: Blues Better and Brew ft. Angie Stone

Hello everyone, it is good being back in the swing of things. This week’s Blonde Intelligence Blog is on Pine Bluff’s live event, Forward Fest: Blues Batter and Brew. Forward Fest is a celebration of the 2017 Go Forward Initiative. I will say that Pine Bluff is definitely moving forward. There is a revitalization project where low income families with children can purchase a new home. The land and resources for this project were part of a collaborative effect with the city, the university, and local businesses. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (HBCU) has completed construction on the new STEM Building, updated several other constructions, and beautified the campus. The city of Pine Bluff has expanded Lake Saracen, created more summer programs, and summer employment programs for our youth. New businesses have expanded to Pine Bluff. Yes, Pine Bluff’s trajectory is forward!!!

Forward Fest: Blues Batter and Brew is a celebratory live event in downtown Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Did I mention the event is free 😊? Forward Fest is part of a Delta Celebration Series. I recommend acquiring information of the Arkansas Delta and the Mississippi Delta with the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff being the “Flagship of the Delta”.  Forward Fest’s lineup includes: Angie Stone, Big Robb, Sean Chambers, On Call Band, Tragikly White, Platinum Hitz, SYNRG, and Dave Sadler. Did I already say free 😊? In addition to the live show there will be food, fireworks, Kids Zone, Vendors, and yes, a car show!!!

Forward Fest: Blues Batter and Brew is in downtown Pine Bluff this Saturday June 9, 2018 from 12:00 pm-11:00 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and come help Pine Bluff celebrate moving forward with Forward Fest: Blues Better and Brew. Remember to Like, Share, and Subscribe to Ms. Roni’s Blonde Intelligence.
